Saudi Arabia needs large insurers, says finance minister

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan said that the country needs large insurance companies capable of providing new services in the region, Middle East Insurance Review reported citing Arab News. Saudi Arabia’s government is looking to strengthen the country’s insurance sector and has approved the establishment of an independent insurance regulator.
